2009 was great year for us with the release of our self titled EP and “The Feel Good Song” being played on radio across Canada!

We were so fortunate to be nominated for three Music Nova Scotia Awards as well as our first ECMA nod…

We have some exciting things planned for 2010, so stay tuned for a new single coming to radio and a brand new full length album and of course lots and lots of touring!

We will be occasionally throwing a new song or two up here from time to time for a sneak peek!

We’re very excited to announce that our self titled EP released in April 2009 earned us our first ECMA nominated for Sirius Satellite Radio’s Rock Recording Of The Year!

We will be taking part again in this year’s ECMA festivites from March 4th-8th 2010  in Sydney,NS on beautiful Cape Breton Island! (show dates coming soon)

Molson Nova Scotia Music Week nominees announced! Andrew Hunter & The Gatherers are nominated for their debut, self-titled EP for New Artist/Group Recording, and Pop/Rock Artist/Group Recording. Andrew Hunter is nominated for SOCAN Songwriter of the Year!

So, we got some news last week that the award winning first single, “The Feel Good Song” will be used on one of the all time greatest Canadian TV shows!

Degrassi: The Next Generation – Episdoe 908

This is great news and some great exposure! (Everyone has been asking me If I am going to get to meet Snake…) Ha! Not sure when exactly when the  broadcast date will be.Just know it’s Episode 908. Keep your eyes and ears open for it!
